OUR VISION FOR DISTRICT 32

Utility Costs
Bills you can predict and afford. I will work to:
-
Strengthen utility oversight
-
Require corporate responsibility for infrastructure costs, a major driver of rate increases
-
Protect consumers and reduce long-term utility costs
Housing
A home you can afford, and keep. I will work to:
-
Expand affordable housing for renters and homeowners
-
Protect longtime homeowners and support first-time homebuyers
-
Encourage reasonable rental practices and responsible landlord-tenant policies
-
Build real pathways out of homelessness
Education
Every child deserves more than a diploma. I will work to:
-
Deliver universal full-day pre-K
-
Build out early intervention, tutoring, and individualized support so students master core skills
-
Provide strong resources and support for teachers
-
Setup after-school programs, mentorship, and youth services that reach the kids who need them most
Health Care
Care that does not bankrupt your family. I will work to:
-
Lower prescription drug costs and affordable insulin
-
Enact health care price transparency
-
Expand mental health services and support for families in crisis
-
Reduce medical debt
Gun Violence
Every family safe, in every neighborhood. I will work to:
-
Fully fund the state's new Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety so it delivers real results, not just another initiative that fades
-
Invest in community-based violence prevention that stops shootings before they start
-
Reach young people before they ever pick up a gun through youth programs, mentorship, and behavioral-health crisis response
-
Hold people accountable for gun violence while keeping our neighborhoods — in Dover, Magnolia, and every small town — safe
